The depositional facies and conodonts in the Upper permian and Middle-Lower Triassic Carbonatite in this area are studied in this paper. The emphasis is laid on the genera, species and assemblage of conodonts, and a preliminary division is made of the carbonate facies in different formations. Therefore,the relationship between conodont animals and depositional environments and lithology is described. Besides, the colour alteration of conodonts and its significance in exploring oil and gas is also discussed.

The conclusions developed from computer numerical simulation of pa-
eked hole assembly ace of theoretical and practical importance.The results
from simulation can be used as a guide in vertical and directional dril
ing.Fundamental formulae of finite element method in analyzing bottom
hole assembly are given in appendix A.The computer program is v-ritten
in "FORTRAN".All data are input into computer nith0 question and ans-
wer"format.Tabulated data or plot of displacement of bottom hole assem-
bly can be selected at users s will.
It is proved by simulation that the hehavior of bottom hole assernbly
not only depends on bit side force.Both the bit side force and the resul-
taut should be considered in analysis of bottom hole assembly.Three
general types of assembly.holding,building and dropping-aro simu-
lated.Comparison of the results ith field measurements of drilled hole
angles is presented.The computer simulation with the factors of a parti-
cular formaton could be helpful in predicting well trajectary,designing
a proper assembly and determining the Sveight on bit,

The valve body and valve cup of mud pump are parts that are easily
to be worn end broken.In order to increase the life-time of these parts,
we studied the technology of increasing the life-time of valve body and
valve cup by ionic welding. On the basis of the results of laboratory and
field experiments the question is discussed on the technology of ionic bead
welding,and wear-resistant alloy for valve body and valve cup,and the
data of the experiments in oil fields are listed .The results of the experi-
menu indicate that the life-time of the valve body and valve cup can be
increased obviously by means of ionic welding.
