In this paper we mainly discuss the sedimentary facies and volcani clastic turbidites of the trough-fault basin which makes up the southern and central parts of the Nanpan River Area. This area is about 200,000 km2 and located in the junction of Yunnan, Guazhou and Guangsi provinces.During Dong Wu movement, as a result of the rifts in NW. NE and SN directions in this area, paleostructure was formed from the graben type trenches alternating with the isolated platfoms. There is quite thick spilite erupted in the west and intrusion of comagmatic diabase in the east. Later on, there frequently happened intermediate magma eruption. On the basis of the results of the field and laboratory work we have proved that the latter—the intermediate rock is a kind of andesitic volcaniclastic turbidite that erupted along the rift belt on sea flour and belongs to a volcanic ash flow type. We have presented the pattern of the sedimentary facies of this area—five sedimentary regions and eight facies belts.
In addition, we have pointed out that in oil and gas exploration the attention should be focused on the reef belts around the platform margins which are covered with volcaniclastic turbidite after retreating, and on the upper fan and channels of apron facies where volcaniclastic turbidite and the turbidite fan of calcarenite overlap.

We have been exploring oil and gas in Sichuan for a long time, and have discovered a great number of oil and gas fields in Sichuan, most of which are structural and formed of Carbonates.
Now we are facing a problem-what to do after most structural traps have been discovered. In addition to structural traps, we must explore stratigraphic taps and diagenetic traps.
As a matter of fact, some diagenetic traps have been discoverde already. Besides, in present paper the mechanism, classification and characteristics of diagenetic traps are discussed, and latest information about diagenetic traps is intrlduced.
Finally, we have discussed the problem how to explore carbonate diagenetic traps in Sichuan.

The bench test of three-cone bits and analysis of their bottom hole patterns are the simplest and useful means of checking and improving their design. These means have been rsed for a long time abroad, but they are used in our country for the first time now.
In present paper we have introduced in great detail the measured parameters and the bottom hole patterns of the Sichuan-made three-cone bits, such as “XHP4-1、川,M-9X types, when we used them to penetrate granite, limestone and sandstone. In addition, we have compared all these results with those we obtained, using bits of ”J44、J55R、F3、HP51、J77、types, which are made in U.S.A.
Besides, in this paper we have presented several photos of bottom hole patterns and various drilling parameters. Through theoretical analysis of them we have come to some conclusions about the rational teeth arrangement and usage, which may be useful for improving bit design and its usage.

The paper has defined Varous Hankel Transforms suitable for common boundary condition in reservoir engineering and deduced or presented their inverse transform formulae. As a practical example of using the Hankel Transform, the exact solution has been obtained for the defferential equation system of the double-porosity model at constant bottom-hole pressure. Hence, it has been proven that the Hankel transform is a most effective mathematical tool for solving the problems of radial flow of a slightly compressible fluid.

It is necessary to study how to determine the optimum of the total number of effective turns of the round jointing thread of oil casing pipes.
In this Paper, the equation of the load of the jointing thread is obtained by analysing elastic of the round jointing thread of the casing string under stretching stress. The optimal number of turns of the round jointing thread of oil casing pipe is deduced by means of numerical calculation of the dimension parameters of Chinese-made casing pipes and casing collar in technical manual (YB690-70) and by analysing the load distribution feature in jointing therad.

Beginning with the second-order difference equation for solving deflection of the beams, the present paper has obtained simple formulas of evaluating the deflections and angles of rotation by using Z-transformation. These formulas can simplify the calculation a lot, particularly in solving problems of non-uniform cross section beam under complex loads. Besides, it is a primary attempt to apply Z-transformation to mechanics.

The concept of Fuzzy sets was first introduced by L.A.Zadeh in 1965 and Fuzzy integral was set up by M.Sugeno in 1972.Later, a series of distribution function convergence theorems and Fuzzy integral measure convergence theorems were established by Huang Jin-Li and Zheng Dao-Peng in 1980. In the same year, the Fuzzy integral set up by M.Sugeno (it is called Fuzzy integral of type I in this paper) was extended and a new Fuzzy integral (this is named Fuzzy integral type I in this paper) was introduced by Zhang Wen-xiu and Zhao Ru-huai Starting with Fuzzy integral of type I, this paper presents the corresponding convergence theorem of Fuzzy integral of type I.
