Abstract:

The evolution of moral ideas in the new period of China can be divided into four stages. Transition period: 1978-1991;
Exploration period: 1992 - 2000; Developing period: 2001 - 2011; Stable period: 2012 to present and near future. The main
enlightenment of moral ideas evolution are: the change of the economic system is the fundamental cause; the political superstructure is
in the leading position; the status of moral in society becomes increasingly important; moral conflicts are inevitable phenomena with
social changes; the formation of new moral concepts has to go through a long process from the fuzzy and general situation to the more
specific and clear, and the mainstream moral concepts advocated by the society has to be practical, clear, easy to remember and to
practice.
