Relations between Interpersonal Trust in College Students and Parental Rearing Patterns

Abstract:

Objective: To explore the correlation between college students' interpersonal trust and parental rearing pattern, and to
provide theoretical guidance for family education and students' mental health. Methods: 317 college students were tested by ITS and EMBU. Results: There were significant differences between the only-child or not and different residence （P<0.05）. Interpersonal trust was positive correlated with emotional warmth （FF1,MF1）（P＜0.01）,
negative correlated with parents' uncharitable punishment and rejection（P <0.05） .Conclusion: Parenting styles play an important role on interpersonal trust of college students．
