Abstract:

Objective：To explore the chemical constituents of tuber of Isodon lophanthoides. Methods：Compounds were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis and chemical evidences. Results：Six constituents were isolated from ethyl acetate fraction of the extract and identified as β-sitosterol（1），3β-Oacetyloleanolic acid （2），3β-O-acetylursolic acid （3），oleic acid （4），hinokiol （5），and 2 -hydroxyloleanolic acid（6）. Conclusion：Compounds 1-6 are isolated from the underground part of I. lophanthoides for the first time，while 2-6 are firstly obtained from this plant as well.
