Investigation on the Enhancement Effect of Several Surfactants in the
Spectrophotometric Determination of Tin

Abstract

Abstract:

Objective: To study the enhancement effect of several surfactants in the spectrophotometric determination of trace tin and
effect on tin（Ⅱ）-benzfluorenone complex. Methods: Under the optimum experimental conditions, the analytical performance of the
method was investigated. Results: The detection limits（LODs）of tween-80, Triton X-114, Triton X-100 and tween-20 were 0.018,
0.021, 0.024 and 0.027 μg/mL. The sensitivity was improved about 2 times. Conclusion: The surfactants improved the sensitivity of
the method. The analysis method was more environmentally friendly.
