Abstract: The mass tourism changes the modern process of tourist destination and the human settlement in tourist destinations. In
order to shape the touristic image and attract more tourists, the tourist destinations have not only changed the original architectural
pattern and living environment of the local communities, but also made themselves leisure places in the eyes of tourists. People lived in
the local communities have changed their original ways of life and settlement because of the tourists' behaviors. The local community
has to make an ecological strategy to match the development of tourist destination in the process of tourism, and eliminate the negative
influences of the human settlement caused by the mass tourism, therefore promoting the sustainable development of tourism of the local
community.
