Abstract:

Objective： To investigate and analyze the current situation of AIDS prevention and control among the new high-risk population — male homosexuals under the new situation of normalized prevention and control of COVID-19 in China. Methods： Using anonymous web-based questionnaires and face-to-face interviews， 1 542 male homosexuals were surveyed on their perceptions and behaviors of ＡＩＤＳ prevention and treatment， and to study the prevention and control measures of male homosexuals. Results： Among the participants， 95.40% learned about AIDS through the Internet， 98.05% recognized that sexual transmission was one of the modes of transmission of AIDS， 9.27% have never heard of AIDS blocking drugs， 70.56% did not use condoms when having sex， 50.00% did not do AIDS testing before and after having sex； 13.42% failed to seek medical treatment in time during the 72-hour optimal interruption period after high-risk sex. Conclusion：At present， there are serious hidden dangers and prevention loopholes for ＡＩＤＳ infection in the male homosexuals， and multiple measures are needed for AIDS prevention education and high-risk behavior intervention in this group to innovate comprehensive prevention and treatment mechanisms.
