The third full-length novel The Story behind Tangbiao Iron Column by LI Hongwen, takes the political rivalry, division and reunion between Nanzhao local regime, Tang Dynasty and Tubo in the 7th century as its writing background, reproduces national amalgamation and common people's life and fate through historical romance, reasonable absurdity, self-concerned life, harmonious nature and his plain and vivid writing style.
