地方文献是图书馆文献资源的重要组成部分，是地方图书馆为当地政治、经济、文化建设与发展提供信息服务的重要信息资源。大理历史悠久、文化灿烂，然而，大理地方文献建设工作依然存在诸多问题，其现状不容乐观。因此，积极开展相关研究工作具有重要的现实意义。
Local literature is an important part of library document resources and an important information resource providing information service for local political, economic, and cultural construction and development. Despite its long history and brilliant culture, many problems of local literature construction still exist in Dali. Therefore, it is of practical significance to actively carry out relevant research work.
