Abstract:

〔Abstract〕Objective: To research the effect of Seselopsis extract on immune function in immunocompromised mice caused by
cyclophosphamide. Methods：In this study, immunocompromised models were established through the intraperitoneal injectionof
cyclophosphamide. After the models were administered high, medium and low dose（5.00, 2.50, 1.25 g/kg）of Seselopsis extract by
gavage for 15 d, the organ weights and organ index, the number and classification of peripheral blood cell, bone marrow nucleated cell,
T and B lymphocyte transformation were tested. Results：Seselopsis extract can enhance their immune function by improving the
peripheral blood of immunocompromised mice, increasing the weight of immunocompromised mice organs and organ index, increasing
the number of bone marrow cells and promoting the proliferative function of splenic lymphocytes. Conclusion：The Seselopsis extract
can improve the immune function of immunocompromised mice.
