大语言模型促进英语深度阅读的教学策略研究

摘要:

对大语言模型(LLMs)在英语阅读教学中的应用进行研究,探讨其对学生高级思维能力和深度阅读的促进作用。研究 通过教学实验,对学生阅读理解水平进行了前、中、后测试,结果验证了LLMs在翻转课堂模式下对学生语言理解、文本分析及 批判性思维的积极影响。结果表明,采用LLMs进行英语学习不仅提升了学生的阅读理解水平,还增强了他们的思维能力,促 进了深度学习,为大语言模型在英语阅读教学中的应用提供了理论与实践指导。

Abstract:

This paper studies the application of large language models( LLMs) in English reading instruction, exploring their role in enhancing students′ higher-order thinking skills and deep reading abilities. Through teaching experiments, the study conducted pretest, mid-test, and post-test on students′ reading comprehension levels. The results verify the positive impacts of LLMs on students′ language comprehension, text analysis, and critical thinking in a flipped classroom model. The findings indicate that using LLMs for English learning not only improves students′ reading comprehension levels but also strengthens their higher-order thinking abilities, thereby promoting deep learning. This research provides theoretical and practical guidance for the application of large language models in English reading instruction.
