Abstract:

Embarking on the new journey toward passing the test, the Communist Party of China( CPC) finds itself in a more complex ethical landscape. How to leverage the moral strengths of Marxist political parties to coordinate diverse interests and resolve value conflicts has become a crucial issue bearing on the legitimacy of its long-term governance and the fulfillment of its historical mission. As a theoretical crystallization of integrating Marxist theories on party building with the practice of Party building in the new era, the "Three Imperatives" provide a value framework for regulating Party-mass relations, intra-Party relations, and inter-Party relations. Specifically, the "Three Imperatives" adhere to the core value of putting the people first, address the ethical dilemma of missionoriented political parties, and strengthen Party-mass relations; nurture a clean and honest political ecology, consolidate the moral strengths of progressive political parties, and coordinate intra-Party relations; and uphold the value of seeking common ground while reserving differences, demonstrate the moral consciousness of responsible political parties, and deepen inter-Party relations.
