Abstract:

University academy system, a combination of traditional western liberal education and spirit of Chinese ancient academy
of classical learning, is a new efficient student management mode which combines Chinese traditional academy spirit and western
boarding school. Based on the research and analysis of the relevant research papers published in recent years, this paper summarized
the research on the university academy system in China. Combining with the representative practical exploration experience of China's
university academy system construction, this paper analyzes and discuses from four aspects: the connotation of the university academy
system, the reasons for the implementation and development status of the university academy system, the comparison between Chinese
and foreign university academy system, and the main existing problems, optimization measures, and suggestions of the construction of
China's university academy system, which aims at contributing to the theoretical research and practical exploration of university
academy system in colleges and universities in China.
