Objectives：To analyze the reporting quMi~of infectious diseases in Fugong County from 2006 to 2008 and provide a scientific method for management of notifiable infectious diseases．Methods：Data from information management system fro disease surveillance report under “China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention”during 2006 to 2008 were collected and exported in excel format，and the reporting quality was evaluated with different indicators，Results：Timely report failure rates in Fugong County were 49．68％，48．26％ ，and 20．45％ respectively in 2006，2007 and 2008，and timely vefi~ing failure rates were 1 6．24％，7．36％and 2．75％．Conclusion：The timeliness，completeness and accuracy rates of reporting in 2008 were significantly higher compared to that in 2006．The reporting quality of notifiable infectious diseases has been improved．
