Objectives：To implement the reform of medical and heahh system and patient—oriented concept，and to standardize clinical nursing，strengthen basic nursing，improve nursing service and ensure patients safety．Methods：Implementation plan of high-quality nursing service demonstration activity was carried out and one high—quality nursing service pilot ward was fixed after deep understanding of the document and well—prepared propaganda work．Results：The nursing quality of the pilot ward was c0mprehensively improved both in
nurse—patient communication and trust and in patient’S and their family’S satisfaction degrees．Conclusion：Good basic nursing work is the breakthrough point of holistic nursing and the cornerstone of improving professional standards，as well as the important channel of medical safety and harmonious doctor-patient relationship．
