Abstract:
After conducting the survey of the current situation of education about ethnic unity in more than 90 primary and secondary schools in Chuxiong,Honghe,Dali,Dehong,Baoshan and Lincang,which are all ethnic neighborhoods,we find out that before June 2009,the education about ethnic unity has been included in their teaching purposes and plans in most of Yunnan'S primary and secondary schools.We also find out that they had also probed for ways to test students on ethnic unity and organized colorful and varied activities by making use of local sources.Then we suggest that departments concerned make research for teaching methods with promotion value about ethnic unity and expound detailed operation of these methods and problems may be confronted during the operation,SO as to popularize these teaching methods.We also proposal that national ministry of education and schools propagate the positive role of the ethnic unity education played on students while they propagate the social value of ethnic unity education.
