Analysis of OUYANG Xiu's Zeng Xu

From the perspective of content, OUYANG Xiu's Zeng Xu can be divided into three groups as follows, persuasion,
encouragement, and praise. While from the perspective of art, his Zeng Xu is full of affections and profound applications, with clever conception and metaphor, analogy, comparison and rendering, all of which are fully displayed in his unique aesthetic style. His Zeng Xu has become an independent style rather than a simple attachment to the poetry, from which his style as a "spiritual mentor" could be comprehended.
