Abstract:

In recent years, scholars increasingly pay more attention to social space, especially the rural social space. The
research of rural social space can be roughly divided into two categories: the study of the association of social relations in rural social space and the study of the intervention of modern media in rural social space. The study of the association of social relations in rural social space mainly emphasizes the internal changes of relations which are included in the social space. The study of the intervention of modern media in rural social space pays attention to the effect of external forces which is based on the background of the extensive use of the modern media. The two kind of research are trying to depict the changes of village social space and to reveal the development of its social relations.
