Effects of PPARα on Organ Transplantation

Objective: To investigate the effect of PPARα on organ transplantation on mice model. Methods: Fenofibrate, Wy14643,
or vehicle was given through a feeding needle once per day for 7 consecutive days on C57BL/6J, spleen from C57BL/6J or BALB/c
was collected and splenocyte was isolated. Mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR)was carried out. Results: The splenocyte was no
response in MLR from the mice treated with fenofibrate, or Wy14643. Conclusion: PPARα could be activated by fenofibrate, or
Wy14643, could inhibit MLR.
