On Characteristic Major Construction in Local Universities
——— Based on Development of Characteristics in Pharmacy of Dali University

This paper introduces the measures of constructing characteristics in Pharmacy. During this process, we are based on the local area; combine the major closely with the regional economy and social development in order to fully reflect the school's educational orientation and spirit. Meanwhile, we are orientated for the social need and employment, set up a course system suiting the economic and social development, reform the teaching content of curriculum, and enhance the construction of curriculum, textbook and teacher staff. Moreover, focusing on the training of students' practical working ability, we establish the platform of practical teaching to highlight the students' abilities of practice, creation and social adaptation.
