Dynamic Electrocardiogram Analysis of Vagal-Related Atrioventricular Block

Abstract:

Objective: To investigate the occurrence, development and outcome of vagal-related atrioventricular block (AV block). Methods: Clinical documents from 48 patients with vagal-related AV block were analyzed to explore the relationship and clinical significance between incidence of vagal-related AV block and age. Results: Vagal-related atrioventricular block is more common under 40 years of age, and it often occurs in the night sleep when heart rate is low. Conclusion: Vagal-related atrioventricular block is functional disorder, which is not need to do special treatment, let alone the permanent artificial pacemaker thereapy.
