Determination of Content of Total Flavones from the Plant of Arctium lappa L.

Abstract:

Objective: To determine the content of the total flavones from the Arctium lappa L.. Methods: The best extraction
technology was determined by orthogonal experiment design, including extraction time，solid-liquid ratio，ethanol concentration and the extraction times. The content of total flavones was determined by absorption spectrometry with rutosids as reference substance.Results: Optimum extraction technology was as follows: 55% ethanol，ratio of material to liquid 1：70，time 1.5 h，two times. The calibration curve had good linear relationship in the range of 4.00~100.00 μg/mL. The average recovery was 97.7%,RSD=2.5%（n=6）.Conclusion: The extraction process is stable and feasible. The quantitative method is accurate.
