The Disciplinary Difference of Students’Study Habits with Different Subjects in Dali University

Abstract

Abstract:

Objective：To understand the differences of college students’study habits with different academic background in Dali University. Methods: Questionnaire survey. We surveyed 1 131 college students of Liberal Arts, Science and Engineering, and Medical Science for their study habits. Results: Students in Liberal Arts discipline have better study habits in course learning, excellent study efficiency when sitting in class, and more active in study than other two discipline students. The Medical Science students are more active in acquiring new knowledge. Conclusion: The learning habits of students in Dali University differ by their disciplines. We should guide the students in developing good study habits based on the characteristics of their discipline and improve the quality of teaching.
