Abstract:

Objective: To explore the extraction process of ferulic acid and bergapten from seselopsis. Methods: Ferulic acid and
bergapten were extracted by supersonic wave method. Under optimized by single element and L₉（3⁴） orthogonal experiment, we
investigated the relationships of extract content with the number of extraction times, extraction time, ratio of raw material to liquid and
temperature. Results: The optimal extraction process was A₃B₂C₁D₂, refluxing and extracting for 3 times at 55 ⁰C, 50 minute per time,
ratio of raw material to liquid at 1:5. Conclusion: The optimal extraction process is simple and reliable, and it serves as reference for
further development and utilization of seselopsis.
