Abstract:

Objective: To explore the value of high frequency ultrasonography in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve injury. Methods:
Thirty-one patients(thirty-five nerves)diagnosed as peripheral nerves injuries were examined by high frequency ultrasonography and
the results were compared with the examination pathology or other imaging analysis. Results: The high frequency ultrasonography
could display directions and internal structures of the epineurium、perineurium and nerve fiber bundles clearly, Based on the different
peripheral nerve ultrasonic ultrasonographic characteristics, we could judge the damage position, extent, range and damage types.
Conclusion: The high frequency ultrasonography could display different types of peripheral nerve injury , accurate judgement damage
parts and degree, and it has a high clinical value.
