Antibacterial Activity of the Extracts from Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott

Abstract:

Objective: To explore the antibacterial activity of the extracts from Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）. Methods: Solution
dilution method was applied to measure the antibacterial effects of aqueous extract, ethanol extract and ethyl acetate extract from Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）against 11 experimental bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus. Results: All extracts showed antibacterial activity on 11 experimental bacteria. Ethyl acetate extract exhibited best antibacterial activity in 3 extracts. Conclusion: All the extracts of Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）exhibited good antibacterial effect. The research provided a scientific basis for the developing and utilizing of Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）
