A Study of the Difficulties and Resolutions of the Construction of Public Relations Major in Universities of
Western China：A Case Study of Dali University

Abstract

Abstract:

The professional education of public relations is less developed among colleges in the western China. Dali University，the only university set up undergraduate major of public relations in the western China，faced some problems including lack of characteristic specialty orientation，vague educational goals，unclear class- system construction idea，insufficiency of teaching resources (teachers，textbooks and practice). To some extent，these problems seemed to be the common problems in western Yunnan PR education; the exploration and discussion on these issues will positively improve PR education and the major construction in western China.
