Abstract:

Objective: To understand mycoplasma infection and drug resistance situations of female genital tract of Mangshi.
Methods: 932 female cervical secretions samples were analyzed respectively for mycoplasma culture and drug sensitivity. Results:636 mycoplasma cases out of 932 were detected, whose positive rate was 68.2%(636/932). Females with single infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)were 447 cases, whose positive rate was 48.0%(447/932). Females with single infection of Mycoplasma hominis(Mh)were 8 cases, whose positive rate was 0.9%(8/932). 82 cases were tested out with Uu and Mh mixed infection, whose positive rate was 19.5%(182/932). Conclusion: Local female genital tract mycoplasma infection rate was higher, which were mainly
caused by Uu. The resistant rate of ciprofloxacin and erythromycin were higher, so it was recommended to use josamycin and doxycycline.
