On the Philosophical Basis of Ideological and Political Education

Abstract:

The formation of the philosophical basis of ideological and political education is not only regarded as a highly theoretical consciousness of the academia and an inevitable requirement with further studying on this theory, but also a profound response to the current difficulties and challenges of the ideological and political education practice. Thoughts on the philosophical basis must be backward, and the more it is backward, the better we can understand the nature of things. Philosophical basis of ideological and political education is divided into three levels: research paradigm is the primordial level which decides and influences the overall understanding of ideological and political education; meta-theory is the co-ordinating level which conducts ideological and political education and other related content; theoretical basis is the special level which is in a dominant position of the basic theories of ideological and political education.
