Investigation on the Present Situation of Implementation of Emergency Knowledge Education and
Training Needs of Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools in Yunnan Province

Abstract:

By means of stratified sampling and self-made questionnaires——Survey of the Present Situation of Emergency Knowledge Education of Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools in Yunnan Province, we chose 505 teachers from 32 primary and secondary schools in Yunnan province as objects of our survey to mainly investigate the present situation and training needs of emergency knowledge education. Survey results show that primary and secondary schools are serious short of emergency knowledge education. The main problems of emergency knowledge education in primary and secondary schools are the lack of professional teachers and the main channel of courses. However, teachers hold a positive attitude on emergency knowledge education and they are in high need for the
training of emergency knowledge education. We suggest to strengthen emergency knowledge education training for primary and secondary school teachers and to construct the emergency knowledge education system in primary and secondary schools in order to carry out the emergency knowledge education in primary and secondary schools systematically.
