Abstract:

Since Hume put forward the "Is-Ought Problem", the gap of "Fact-Value" and the questions appear: Can the gap be
crossed? Or, is the derivation of "fact-value" possible? These questions become the core problems that ethics concerned about. In
1950s, "emotionalism" of Ayer et al. denied this derivation completely, so the discussion of the investigation of ethics is in a tight
corner. Faced with this dilemma, Putnam et al. who have come up with their own rescue measures, made the derivation of "fact-value"
possible, and changed the research direction of contemporary ethics which held the "pragmatism". However, the change did not make
the problem of the relationship between fact and value find the final answer, but slid from one extreme to the other extreme.
