Abstract:

Alujure(also called Zhigealu)is a popular Yi epic poem in Yi regions in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan. Although the
version of the poem which is mainly popular in the Yuanmou, Xiaoliangshan regions is rather short, yet it is a perfect sample to
compare and analyze the myths and legends between Yi and Bai people because those regions are close to Dali Bai Autonomous
Prefecture. Among many myths about local gods of Bai people, Duchaoxuan originated from Zhoucheng, Dali is popular in Dali area,
which is worth of comparative study and discussion with some plots in Alujure in Xiaoliangshan regions.
