Abstract:

Objective: To explore the application value of Color Doppler Ultrasound examination in infant congenital muscular
torticollis. Methods: The performance of Color Doppler high frequency ultrasound on the neck of 9 cases with clinically or
pathologically confirmed congenital muscular torticollis were retrospectively analyzed. Results: Ultrasonography show masses echo in
children with congenital muscular torticollis for sternocleidomastoid muscle, with distribution along the long axis of the muscle. CDFI:
muscle stripes within the region can display dot color flow signal, and there was a significant difference comparing with contralateral
normal chest lock papillary muscle. Conclusion: Color Doppler Ultrasound has high diagnostic value of congenital muscular torticollis.
