Objective: To study the sodium nitrite injury and repair mechanisms to the male mice. Methods: Kunming species male
mice were used in the experiment. Dose groups were administered by oral with NaNO2(15, 30, 60 mg/(kg·d)), while the control
groups had been given normal saline of the same volume for 14 days. After 24 hours of the last exposure to NaNO2, one-third of mice in
three dose groups were killed. The remaining mice were divided into two groups. One group was given Lyceum barbarum
polysaccharide, while another group was given normal saline of the same volume for 14 days and then killed all the mice. Experiment
measured index included the main organ weight, organ coefficient, serum testosterone level and sperm deformity rate. Results: With
the increasing dose of NaNO2, the mice serum testosterone level and the spleen weight were decreased significantly(all P value<
0.05), the sperm deformity rate was increased significantly(all P value<0.05). After stopping giving NaNO2, the level of serum
testosterone were increased, the sperm deformity rate and spleen organ coefficient were declined in 15, 30 mg/(kg·d)NaNO2 groups,
the three indexes were statistically significant comparing with previous experiments(all P value<0.05). The other indexes had no
change. Conclusion: NaNO2 had the ability to inhibit the level of serum testosterone and induce the sperm deformity in mice. After
stopping exposing to NaNO2, the mice can repair some damages by themselves, the Lyceum barbarum polysaccharide may also have
recovery effect, which needs further study.

The blood samples of 423 new drug users in Dali Detoxification Center from January 2015 to June 2015 were collected to detect the
infection status of HIV and HCV. Using the data in questionnaire survey and statistical methods, risk factors related to infection were
analyzed. Results: The infection rates among total 423 drug users were 19.4%(82/423)for HIV, 46.3%(196/423)for HCV. It is
found that 96.3%(79/82)of the 82 HIV positive had infected with HCV. Multiple factor analysis indicated that the prevalence of HIV
and HCV among drug users were positively related to drug using time, injection drug use, sharing needles. In addition, HCV infection
was associated positively with the age of drug users and the times and quantity of drug addicts using per day. Conclusion: All sorts of
high risk behavior associated with HIV and HCV infection result in the high HIV and HCV prevalence among drug users in Dali, which
accelerate the HIV and HCV prevalence among this group of people.

Objective: To study the epidemic state of the Hepatitis A Virus(HAV)infection in swinery, and to explore the possibility
of swine as another host or carrier of HAV for providing basis for prevention and controlling measures of human HA. Methods: Serum
HAV-IgG of swine in Dali was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), and HAV-RNA of swine blood and swine
bile samples were tested by reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), with the blood and bile of HAV as positive
control. Results: ①HAV antibody positive rate of the blood samples of swine were detected as 73.3%(374/510); ②RT-PCR method
was built to detect HAV; ③HAV-RNA of positive control samples were detected with RT-PCR; ④HAV-RNA of swine blood and
swine bile samples were not detected with RT-PCR. Conclusion: RT-PCR method is successfully built to detect HAV-RNA. The
antibody positive rate of HAV is rather high in the blood sample of swine. Further research is necessary to demonstrate whether the
    swine could infect human HAV.
