Personalized Bedside Health Education Among Family Members of Patients in ICU

Abstract:

Objective: To explore the application of personalized bedside health education among families members of patients in
ICU. Methods: Patients suffering serious illness and lacking self-care ability were chosen from the Department of Cerebral Surgery of
certain Dali hospital. The patients' family members were involved in the rehabilitation nursing throughout the treatment. Results:
Personalized bedside health education can ease the psychological pressure of patients and their families, and better enable patients to
receive the care and support of their families, and actively cooperate with the doctors and nurses for treatment and nursing. Conclusion:
The implementation of personalized bedside health education enables family members to participate in the treatment process, which not
only promotes the rehabilitation of patients, but also eases the tension between doctors and patients.
