Objective: To study the effect of pinecone extract of Pinus Yunnanensis on immune function of normal mice. Methods:
Kunming mice were administered high, middle and low dose of pinecone extract(400,200,100 mg/kg), 25 mg/kg Levamisole by gavage
and the mice were sacrificed after 10 days. The content of immunoglobulin IgA, IgM, IgG, complement C3 and C4 in mice serum was
measured; the amount of peripheral blood cell, spleen index, and thymus index were measured as well. Results: The pinecone extract
of Pinus Yunnanensis could increase immunoglobulin IgA, IgM, complements C4 and WBC in peripheral blood content. Compared with
normal group, the difference reflects statistical significance(P <0.05). Conclusion: The pinecone extract of Pinus Yunnanensis can
enhance the immune function of normal mice .

cyclophosphamide. After the models were administered high, medium and low dose(5.00, 2.50, 1.25 g/kg)of Seselopsis extract by
gavage for 15 d, the organ weights and organ index, the number and classification of peripheral blood cell, bone marrow nucleated cell,
T and B lymphocyte transformation were tested. Results:Seselopsis extract can enhance their immune function by improving the
peripheral blood of immunocompromised mice, increasing the weight of immunocompromised mice organs and organ index, increasing
the number of bone marrow cells and promoting the proliferative function of splenic lymphocytes. Conclusion:The Seselopsis extract

Objective: To explore the different responses of basal forebrain nestin positive and negative cholinergic neurons to the
neurotoxicity. Methods: 30 SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, which are control group and colchicine Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ groups
(10, 20, 50, 100 μg). 10 microliters of normal saline or different doses of colchicine were injectedintracerebroventricularly. 24 hours
after injection, 4% paraformaldehyde intracardiac perfusion, brain removal, frozen section, choline acetyltransferase and nestin
immunohistochemistry were carried out. Then, the nestin positive and negative cholinergic neurons of different basal forebrain regions
were counted and analyzed. Results: After intracerebroventricular injection of colchicine, the nestin positive and negative cholinergic
neurons in different regions of rats' basal forebrain decreased. The greater the colchicine injection dose is, the more obvious the
decrease of the neurons. Compared with nestin positive neurons, the nestin negative cholinergic neurons decreased earlier and more
significantly. Conclusion: the nestin expression can enhance the damage resistant ability of basal forebrain cholinergic neurons.

Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of propofol on the treatment of severe traumatic brain injury with
continuous invasive intracranial pressure monitoring. Methods: 32 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups with invasive
intracranial pressure monitoring. In propofol group, patients were given continuous intravenous pumping of propofol for 1-4 days.
Patients in the control group were given a regular treatment of neurosurgery. Close observation of GCS scoring, ICP change rate, total
amount of mannitol and complication was carried out. Results: Two groups had no significant difference in GCS scoring in 1 week(P >
0.05). On the 3rd day and 4th day, the decrease of ICP of propofol group was greater than that of control group. The total amount of
mannitol of experiment group was obviously smaller than that of control group on the 2nd day, the 3rd day and 4th day(P< 0.05).
Conclusion: In a certain period of time, propofol would help reduce the ICP, thus decreasing the total amount of mannitol. However, it
showed no significance in short-term prognosis.

Objective: To investigate the clinical distribution and antibiotic resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae in the Affiliated
Hospital of Dali University in order to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: A total of 98 S. pneumoniae
were obtained from March 2011 to March 2014. The identification and drug sensitive test of all strains were measured by VITEK-2
Compact analyzer. Drug sensitivity results were interpreted by using the American Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)
2012 Edition. The resistance results were analyzed via WHONET 5.6 software. Results: Among 98 strains of S. pneumoniae, 77 strains
were isolated from sputum, 15 from pharynx swab, 3 from blood and 2 from cerebrospinal fluid. Those strains were mainly from
Paediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, ICU, and Dermatology, respectively 34, 27, 16, and 11. 52 of the strains were from children of 5 and
under, and 34 were from the elderly people of 60 or over. The assay showed that the resistance rates of S. Pneumoniae to erythromycin,
tetracycline and SMZ-TMZ were relatively high, reaching 90.8%, 81.6% and 80.6% respectively. The resistance rateto penicillin was
26.5%. The resistance rates to cefotaxime, ertapenem, amoxicillin, meropenem and ceftriaxone were less than 20%. No vancomycin and
moxifloxacin and linezolidresistant strain was found. Conclusion:S. pneumoniae infection were mainly caused by respiratory infection.
    S. pneumoniae infection was the commonest in children and the elderly. We should use antibiotics rationally so as to prevent the
    increase of drug-resistant bacteria.

White blood cells(WBC), red blood cells(RBC), hemoglobin(Hb), hematocrit(HCT), platelets(PLT). Results: The precision of each
test in whole blood mode corresponded with the requirements of precision in automatic blood analyzer;the precision of each testin predilution
mode exceed the requirements of precision in automatic blood analyzer, t test showed that three group testing results of the two
modes had significant differences in precision(P<0.05). The precision of PLT is the lowest. Conclusion: The whole blood mode,
instead of the pre-dilution mode, should be adopted to test blood cells. The pre-dilution mode can only be adopted for infants and
patients who are not suitable for venous blood collection.

retrospectively analyzed. The ultrasound features and results of specimens stained for cerbB-2, Ki67 and P53 with immunohistochemical
method were studied. Results: ①There was a positive correlation between the diameter of breast carcinoma, the blood flow grade, and
the expression of Ki67(P<0.05). ② There was a negative correlation between spicular signs, posterior echo attenuation, and the
expression of cerbB-2(P<0.05).③The risk factor related to Ki67 expression was the grade of blood. The expression of Ki67 increased
significantlyinbreast carcinoma with the blood flow grade Ⅱ-Ⅲ. GradeⅡ-Ⅲ often showed central and penetrating vascularity patterns,
with the latter dominating. ④There was not a correlation between peripheral acoustic halo, micro-calcification, the axillary lymph nodes
metastasis, vascularity patterns of breast carcinoma, and the expressions of Ki67, P53,cerbB-2. Conclusion: Ultrasound performance of
breast carcinoma has relevance with cerbB-2 and Ki67 expressions. The combined analysis of the above mentioned factors can provide
clinical application valuein diagnosis , treatment and prognosis of breast carcinoma.

and teachers involved in the teaching of standard laboratory practical training were surveyed by questionnaires before and after 1-week
standard laboratory practical training. The double input of data was carried out by using Epidata3.1. After the logical screening, the χ2
test, rank sum test and analysis of data were performed by using the SPSS19.0 statistical software package. Results: The differences of
standard practical training indexes before and after the training showed statistical significance. Conclusion: It is necessary to provide
standard laboratory practical training to preventive medicine and health inspection undergraduates before they do internship. It is also
