Abstract:

Naxi language belongs to Yi Branch of Tibeto-Burmese Group of Sino-Tibetan Language Family, which is an isolating
language without shape changes. However, it can be found that there are some words changing the grammatical meanings through phonetic change（that is internal inflexion）in daily Naxi language using and in ancient Dongba Script of Naxi ethnic minority. Therefore, taken predecessors' research materials as references, and combined with daily Naxi language, ancient Dongba scripture, as well as Domba application documents, such as gift pad in Domba language, the preliminary research on the internal flexion of Naxi language will be conducted in this paper.
