Abstract:

In an era of picture-reading, photojournalism could have a potentially great development; meanwhile, it would bring higher
requirements to news photojournalism course in colleges and universities. This paper discusses the current existing problems and reform methods in the practical teaching of photojournalism course, and emphasizes that teacher should definite teaching goal, reform teaching methods, update education concept, pay attention to interdisciplinary relation, and cultivate photographers with visual literacy to meet the needs of the era and media.
