Abstract: This paper uses the methods of literature, logical analysis and field investigation to study Bai people's osprey fishing culture around Erhai Lake, Dali. It aims at revealing the socio-cultural value of the osprey fishing show, enriching the connotation of the fishing culture, promoting this tradition of Bai people, enhancing the inheritance and development of traditional ethnic sports, diversifying the ethnic sports activity in Erhai Lake regions, and to provide practical solutions for the preservation and promotion of fishing cultures.
