The sufficient conditions for unconditional extreme values are determined according to Hessian matrix, but the sufficient conditions for conditional extreme values are rather complex. Based on an analysis that the identification of the two kinds of sufficient conditions rely on different matrices, we derived a method of locating the sufficient conditions for conditional extreme values. By use of first order Taylor expansion in obtaining the relations among argument increments, a more precise matrix for determining the sufficient condition for conditional extreme values in high dimensions and with multiple constraints has been deduced. This helps a better understanding of the relationships and differences between the two kinds of sufficient conditions, and provides a means of finding a more precise sufficient condition for a conditional extreme value.

According to the different features of the course arrangement by the college and different departments, and based on an analysis of the influential factors, constraints and common objectives in the course arrangement between the college and departments, it is suggested that teachers, classes, and courses are bundled as a teaching unit, which reduces stiff restraints for course scheduling. A mathematical model of zero-one integer programming for the dual-level course arrangement based on school satisfaction is built in the end.

The uncertainty of data mainly includes the uncertainty of tuples and that of attribute values. For the latter type, a knearest neighbor classifier is proposed. The attribute value in this classifier is discrete, and the uncertainty of it is expressed by probability distribution vector. The semantic distance among probability distributions is firstly computed according to Concept Hierarchy Tree, and then the semantic distances among attributes and objects are computed. The classification accuracy rate has been validated by experimentation, which indicates that this classifier is a highly effective algorithm for uncertain data.

The fractal theory is adopted to analyze the fractal consistency between traffic network and urban morphology for medium and small cities, aiming at a better coordination of the two. Considering the non-uniformity from center to marginal areas, the radius dimension is used for the fractal quantitative description in order to ensure the comparison and aggregation, and the coordination factor is defined in order to measure the matching degree in the gradual changes from center to margins. On the basis of the structural and fractal characteristics of medium and small cities, a judgment standard for coordination is established and the consistency between traffic network and urban morphology is investigated. The high coincidence of experimental results and actual urban development demonstrates the feasibility of this method.

Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)has a unique advantage in the study of brain functions, but the overlapping of brain tissues and the inhomogeneity of the magnetic fields in the process of imaging, the partial volume effects and noises make the MRI image boundary ambiguous. The image segmentation technology may segment and extract the needed area of medical image and assist the doctor in making an accurate diagnosis. The experimental results show that comparing with other medial segmentation technologies, the fuzzy C-mean(FCM)clustering technology can segment the human brain magnetic resonance imaging effectively. The method to realize the FCM clustering of medical images based on MATLAB is also discussed in the present research.
