Abstract: In this paper, using literature data, questionnaire survey, physical test and mathematical statistics on the physical quality evaluation standard of students majoring in physical education, reference is provided for the assessment and evaluation of physical quality of college students majoring in physical education in border minority areas. The research results were as follows: ①the present standard of professional students' physical quality has problems; ②average scores（ xˉ ±s）of students' physical quality are suggested; ③different indexes of physical quality are investigated. At last, conclusions and suggestion on how to specify relevant norms, enhance the supervision and encouragement of assessment for students, and promote the compatibility of assessment measures and contents.
