Abstract:

Objective: To understand the common pathogens of acne and their biological characteristics in college students. Methods: The facial swabs of acne college students were isolated and cultured, and the drug sensitivity was measured by K-B method. Results: Of 196 samples, 60 strains of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated(infection rate 30.6%), and there were 49 strains(25%)of Staphylococcus epidermidis, 26 strains(13.3%)of Streptococcus, 41 strains(20.9%)of G+ diplococcus, 8 strains(4.1%)of yeast and 21 strains(10.7%)of other species. There were 125 samples(63.8%)in which two or more species were isolated. Additionally, the resistant rates of Staphylococcus aureus against penicillin G, cefoperazone, amikacin, azithromycin, roxithromycin and levofloxacin were
76.7%, 1.7%, 8.3%, 50.0%, 60.0% and 8.3%, respectively. Conclusion: The main pathogen of acne in this population is G+ coccus, most of which are mixed infections, and there is intrinsic resistance in some specimens.
