Abstract: Embroidery has a long history and profound cultural connotation, and is an indispensable part of the Bai culture. The plant patterns are rich in subjects and compositions in the embroidery, and are the most commonly used patterns by Bai people. Based on the classification of collected Bai embroidery plant patterns, combining with an analysis on the categories of Bai embroidery patterns, their cultural connotations and forms, this paper is aimed at playing a facilitative role in the inheritance and protection of ethnic cultures.
