Abstract: InordertoverifytheABSbrakingeffectofthefrontwheelMRbrake,adynamicmodelofthefrontwheelMRbrakeis established,andafuzzyslidingmodevariablestructurecontrollerofthefrontwheelMRbrakeisdesigned.ThesoftwareofSimulinkis usedtomodelandsimulatetheABSbrakebasedonMReffect,andthesimulationcurvesofsliprate,speed-wheelspeed,braking momentandbrakingdistanceareobtained.Theresultsshowthatthefuzzyslidingmodevariablestructurecontrollercombinesthe fuzzycontrolandslidingmodevariablestructurecontroleffectively,restrainsthechatteringofthesystem,acceleratesthespeedofthe systemapproachingtheslidingsurface,andbetterrealizestherequirementsofABSbraking.
