Abstract: The effects of ideological and political education of ethnic minority college students in non-ethnic colleges is not only related to the harmony, friendship, unity and progress of the nation, but also to the prosperity, development and long-term stability of the country. Under the new situation, the ideological and political situation of minority college students in non-ethnic colleges is generally good, but there are also some practical challenges that need to be addressed, such as relatively weak political awareness, poor ability to integrate into the group, vague value orientation and lack of sense of access and security. Therefore, we should start from the content, form, management, concept and other aspects of to promote the quality and efficiency of ideological and political education of ethnic minority college students in non-ethnic colleges.
