Abstract:

Since the promulgation of the Regulations on the Construction of Counselors in Colleges and Universities the deputy secretary of the party committee general branch of the college department), the head of the student work team and the secretary of the Youth League general branch have been clearly included in the team of full-time college counselors. This group is collectively referred to as "non-traditional full-time counselors" in this article. This group is different from the traditional full-time counselors in terms of role characteristics and work contents. Therefore identifying their roles is very important for enhancing the effectiveness and pertinence of ideological and political education. First this study analyzes the advantages of non-traditional full-time counselors secondly it discusses the role of non-traditional full-time counselors based on relevant investigations finally it provides countermeasures and suggestions for the development of non-traditional full-time counselors in terms of policy formulation job functions training and education employment procedures and competition evaluation.
