Abstract: 〔Abstract〕Objective: To conduct a quantitative statistical analysis of pathological microscopic images of gastric adenocarcinoma
under the microscope by the digital medical image processing technology. Methods: The case group consisted of the pathological
images of 20 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma confirmed by gastroscopy biopsy from May to July in 2019 in Wuhu Hospital of
Chinese Traditional Medicine, and the control group included the outpatients with normal gastroscopy images within the same period.
The pathological images of the patients in the two groups were collected. Then the interval distributions of pixel points of gray-scale
pathological images were compared and analyzed. Results: the distribution of pathological image pixels in 101-150, 151-200 and 201-
255 was different between the control group and the case group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01). Conclusion:
Digital medical image processing technology can distinguish normal tissues from cancerous tissues, offering more objective basis for the
diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma and providing a research basis for the computer prescreen of pathological diagnosis of gastric
adenocarcinoma.
