Abstract: How to set up the three systems（academic system, discipline system and discourse system）of contemporary Anthropology
with Chinese characteristics? How can Chinese anthropology achieve academic innovation and discipline development without the
guidance of academic masters? In recent years, great changes have taken place in China's transformation of economic and social
structure, such as urbanization, industrialization and marketization. The development of contemporary Chinese anthropology has
become a local breakthrough in the global stagnation or slow development of anthropology. It is a new academic growth point in the
development of anthropology around the world. Nevertheless, Chinese anthropology is in urgent need of new theories or research
paradigms which is now gradually taking shape. The present neo-classical "function-structuralism" born in China is a kind of
beneficial academic exploration of Chinese anthropologists.
