Abstract: The battle against poverty is coming to an end and the first task of the next stage of student financial aid is to consolidate
the achievement of poverty alleviation through education. Dali Prefecture has achieved remarkable results during the 13th Five-Year
Plan period. However, there are still some problems, such as the imperfect financial institutional system, the difficulty in accurate
financial aid, the difficulty in establishing publicity channels, and the difficulty in promoting student education just through financial
aid. Based on the investigation and research on the current situation of student financial aid in Dali Prefecture, this paper analyzes the
existing problems from the aspects of precise financial aid, geographical relationship, ethnic factors and system structure, and then puts
forward some countermeasures and suggestions, such as intelligent financial aid, systematic financial aid and educational aid, so as to
comprehensively consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation through education.
